New Suzuki Cars: Suzuki Kizashi Stirs International Intrigue

A lot of rough, untested terrain lays between Tokyo and Los Angeles. The Suzuki Kizashi, Suzuki Equator and Suzuki V-Strom 650 will traverse this to show why you can rely on Suzuki to get the job done.

The journey, dubbed Tokyo to L.A.: The Hard Way, begins at the new Suzuki Motors plant in Sagara, Japan. From there, this team of Suzuki vehicles will travel north through the tundra of Siberia, down through Canada and finally to the western United States. The long trip will come to an end at American Suzuki headquarters in Brea, CA.

Suzuki and the editors of Motor Trend,4-Wheel & Off-Road and Motorcyclist embark on an international adventure, putting the 2010 Suzuki Kizashi sport sedan through the ultimate long-term road test, comprising almost 10,000 miles of asphalt, gravel and mud.

Keep track of this adventure by following their official website for photos, updates, and videos.

New Suzuki Cars: The Return of the Suzuki Swift?

Is the Suzuki Swift really coming back to the U.S.? Motor Trend magazine posted an interesting article on the 2011 Suzuki Swift, adding to the speculation that the Swift may be returning to U.S. soil.

The re-designed Suzuki Swift gets 47-56 mpg and still packs some power with a 92 hp engine. This nimble car is smaller than the Suzuki SX4 and will allow drivers the versatility of a modern city car. While the car may be small in size, its big on value with the combination of price and functionality. It will allow drivers to zip around town without the hassles (or fuel economy) of a bulkier car.

Eagle-eyed Suzuki aficionados will notice revised headlights and taillights, a slightly longer and wider body, and an interior that resembles the Kizashi’s. – Motor Trend Magazine

New Suzuki Car: Reviewing the Grand Vitara, Technically Speaking

The video review below gives you a closer look at the technology inside the 2010 Suzuki Grand Vitara. While many reviewers will tell you how well the car drives or how many mpg’s it gets, this CNET review is squarely focused on the technology.

One of the highlights is the Garmin Navigation system. It allows you to check gas prices, movie times, and much more. It is a handy device which comes standard with the Grand Vitara.

Another option that you should not pass up is the hands-free integrated Blue Tooth system. Not only can you have a phone conversation in the car, but you can also read text messages via your dashboard.

Overall, the Suzuki Grand Vitara is known for its rugged capabilities. As it is part of this car’s identity, CNET was impressed by its AWD and towing capability.

Portland Suzuki Dealer: Raving about the New Kizashi

The Suzuki Kizashi has been raved about by both consumers and car industry insiders.

A glowing review appeared today in the Weekly Driver, praising both its styling and its wonderful handling.

With so much to like about the Kizashi, it all came down to the door handle for reporter, Roman Mica. The door handle?

The most important part of the car is the door handle. Why? It’s the first part of the car you touch. In my case, it was love at first touch with the all new 2010 Suzuki Kizashi GTS. – Roman Mica, Weekly Driver

Another big point Roman made is that the Kizashi makes you feel special. With luxury for less than a luxury price, you will feel like you have just made the best deal of your life driving away in a new Kizashi. With power, style, and comfort, the Kizashi is more than worth its price.

New Suzuki Car: See What the Kizashi Can Do

An entertaining and fresh review by KMAX shows “what the 2010 Suzuki Kizashi do.” His insightful review covers everything from exterior styling to under the hood and much more.

KMAX finds this new Suzuki vehicle fast, fun, and stylish. With a powerful engine and luxury styling, you’ll be looking good while making great time.

One of the features he raves about is the keyless entry, which is secure and saves you time. Another feature he likes in the large gas tank. For the size of the Kizashi, it has a larger gas tank than its competitors and amazing fuel economy. That translates to less time at the gas pump and more time on the road.
