According to a report by the Reuters news service, Suzuki announced today that their quarterly profits soared ahead of expectations and their outlook is much brighter for the rest of the year.

The report explains that Suzuki “has been a major beneficiary of a global shift in consumer preference towards smaller cars, partly fanned by government incentives on purchases of environment-friendly cars.”
