Portland Auto Dealer: Suzuki Swift S Concept Hot Hatch Displayed at Geneva Auto Show
The Suzuki Swift S Concept may be considered a mini vehicle, but it was hard to miss at the Geneva Auto Show. Most of that had to do with its bright yellow paint job and rally style body. As reported by Car and Driver, the anticipated vehicle is a high-performance take on the original Swift which debuted at the 2010 Paris show.
Sportier features come in the form of a lower and wider body than the original, front and rear bumpers adorned with slats and a Ferrari-like exhaust and diffuser. In that application, the 1.6-liter four-cylinder made 123 hp and 109 lb-ft of torque. Inside, the S Concept has a race-car inspired steering wheel and two sport seats that parallel those of a Lotus Evora.
The Swift has been popular in Europe since it’s inception. Although the newest version was engineered to meet U.S. regulations, chances are we’re not going to see the sporty Suzuki Swift Stateside. Or could we?
